I did not enter the mental health field by chance. I built my work deliberately, through years of sitting with people in crisis, walking alongside communities, and witnessing what happens when someone finally feels seen. Today, I am the founder of Life in Warmth Psychotherapy: a practice created to offer therapy that is relational, culturally responsive, trauma-informed, and deeply human.

As a Psychotherapist, I work with individuals and couples navigating anxiety, trauma, grief, relational conflict, perfectionism, ADHD/AuDHD, OCD, body dysmorphia, identity stress, and the emotional impact of high-expectation or emotionally restrictive environments. Many of my clients arrive feeling overwhelmed, emotionally disconnected, or stuck in cycles they cannot name. My role is to help them understand themselves clearly, regulate their nervous systems, rebuild emotional safety, and create relationships that feel secure rather than exhausting.

My clinical background spans crisis intervention, community mental health, school-based psychoeducation, addiction and mental-health assessments, and structured psychotherapy across the lifespan. I hold a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology and have completed advanced training in EMDR, TF-CBT, DBT, ACT, IFS, EFT, Gottman Training for Couples, somatic approaches, and brainspotting. Hundreds of supervised clinical hours across diverse settings have shaped an integrative approach that is both evidence-based and deeply attuned to the individual in front of me.

Clients often describe my presence as warm, direct, and grounding. I offer a space where you do not have to perform, explain yourself repeatedly, or minimize your pain. Therapy with me is collaborative, structured when needed, exploratory when helpful, and always paced with care. Whether we are strengthening a relationship, processing trauma, rebuilding self-trust, or learning practical tools for daily life, we work with clarity and purpose.

I also understand therapy from the other side of the chair. I have engaged in both individual and couples therapy myself. That lived experience informs my work with transparency, compassion, and respect for the courage it takes to begin.

Outside the therapy room, I am a devoted pet parent and a lover of psychological thrillers and light-hearted comedies :) small reminders that balance and connection matter as much as growth.

My practice is guided by a simple belief: healing happens when you feel genuinely seen, emotionally safe, and supported in becoming fully yourself.

“Half of life is lost in charming others, and the other half is lost in anxieties caused by others. Leave this play. You have played enough.” — Rumi
